Join us for National Public Lands Day on Saturday, September 30, 2017 as we enjoy a day in Sequoia National Forest.
We will meet at 9:30am at the large dirt turnout on the corner of R-Ranch and Mountain Highway 99. Please look out for our pop up tent and banner. Do not enter R-Ranch Johnsondale as you will have passed us. Use the map to navigate to our location.
Once all volunteers are checked in, we will make our way up Lloyds Meadow Rd to visit our Natural Slides, Peppermint Creek and the Swimming holes of Dry Meadow for post summer cleanup.
We encourgae all particpants to dress accordning to weather and terrain. Trail shoes or hiking boots are required. Hats, sunscreen and maybe a jacket as higher elevation temps can be cooler. Bring a backpack and your canteen. Trash bags and pickers will be provided.
